Q1: Do you charge for extra colours?
A1: No we don't charge for extra colours. You can have as many colours as you like and the price remains the same.

Q2: Are there any setup fees or hidden costs?
A2: No, there are no setup fees or hidden charges. Our price list is all inclusive and we are upfront with you about all product and shipping costs.

Q3: Can you help design our cycling kit?
A3: Yes, no problem. If you require any assistance our design team are on hand to help you. To get things underway, a simple sketch will help us. There are literally thousands of colours to choose from which we select from a colour chart known as Pantone Matching System (PMS). We can help you select a colour, or if you know the colour you want simply tell us the PMS number. Please email the specific PMS colours (if known) and any logos you would like us to incorporate into the design to the following address sales@conquestbikewear.co.uk.  Please make sure you include your team name in the subject field so that we can contact you with any questions or issues relating to your artwork.

Q4: What format should I send the logo in?
A4: To ensure you get the best quality design, we require high quality logos to work with. You can either send us a high resolution JPEG or an Illustrator EPS file.

Q5: How do I know if the design is exactly what I want?
A5: We will forward you a proof upon completion of your design. At this stage you can either approve the design or provide us with more feedback to refine your design.

Q6: Is there a custom design fee?
A6: Yes, the customs design fee is £50. This covers the complete range of clothing and is a one-off fee. Reorders will not incur a design fee.

Q7: What is the lead time for custom orders?
A7: Lead times are between 4-8 weeks from the date you approve the design proof.

Q8: What are the order quantity minimums for custom kit orders?
A8: Our order minimums are low. Please see below.

Q12: How do I care for my Conquest kit?
A12: Your Conquest kit features high quality fabrics and components. It’s designed to last. However, there are a couple of simple things you can do to look after your clothing.

Washing advice

  • Washing a garment means putting stress on fabric and seams! Therefore, wash cycling garments separately from other clothes/accessories to prevent friction.
  • Before washing, turn the garments inside out (seams on the outside).
  • Machine-wash is possible but always use a wash bag, a delicate cycle and lukewarm water (max. 30° C).
  • Do not use bleachers and/or softeners. Use a well known brand name of mild liquid detergent.
  • Do not soak, wring or rub. Do not spin after washing. To remove excess water from your garment gently squeeze by hand.
  • Dry garments flat or hanging.  Do not tumble dry.

Storage advice

  • After each ride, hang the garments in a well-ventilated environment or wash them immediately.
  • Do not hang the garments in the direct sunlight.
  • Never store damp clothes in a non-ventilated environment (e.g. car, plastic bags, sport bag, suitcase, etc.).
  • If your body has a tendency to sweat a lot, water-rinse the garments after each use to protect the fibers from bacterial attacks which might lead to fabric deterioration.

Q13: How does Conquest handle potential product problems?

Fabric piling

  • Fabric piling does not occur by itself. It always is the result of abrasion. Our advice is;
  • Do not use embroidered saddles.
  • Make sure the Velcro fastener of the saddle pocket does not touch the shorts
  • Saddle designs which expose the top part of your stem do cause "touching" and lead to piling.
  • Do not wash together with gloves, bags, rain jackets, etc. They usually feature Velcro straps which will rub against your material.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot repair piling and such problem is never a manufacturing defect.

Chamois gel insert comes off

  • Considering the stress the fine threads on the side of the chamois undergo every time you extend your leg, it is quite normal that this eventually happens. No problem, we can repair it.

Zip breaks

  • Can happen, no problem. Please send in and we attach a new one.

Thread breaks

  • Can happen, no problem. In most cases we can repair it.

Fabric deterioration

  • Sweat is toxic and can vary between individuals. It occurs because of bacterial attack. Due to their performance nature, Conquest Bike Wear fabrics are delicate and deterioration eventually might occur. In order to minimise this problem, we recommend you water rinse the garment after each ride. Also, never store the garment moist or in a closed environment like a plastic bag. Please refer to our FAQ section "How do I care for my Conquest kit?" for more advice.
  • Unfortunately, we cannot repair.
